anybody know how to open cornerlights for painting???

anybody know how to open cornerlights for painting???

i need to know how to open them so i can match the to my ae headlights.. do i need to put them on the oven??? or should i just use nite shade and cover them conpletely black??? any boy have pics of the corners blacked out..

use heat gun if u have one if not use the oven just check on the parts every 2 min so they dont burn or melt

funny you ask that.....I just got done doing my corners.....The easiest way to do it, if you're by yourself.......Preheat your oven to like 300-350.......and put your corners in there, just make sure you take out the lightbulb and the wiring.......and just stick them in there for a few minutes, and keep checkin on em every like minute.......and they will just open up.....you might need to use like a flat head to like slowly open them up, cause theres a lot of glue on them

For the oven treatment make sure you don't put them face down on the tray because thats a good way to flatten them!
