RE: Auto tranny improvement in 1999?

I remember reading somewhere that Nissan had made a few improvements to its automatic transmissions in the 1999 Max and Infiniti.

Any truth to this, and if so, what changes were made?

I don't think so.

My 99 shifts/behaves the same as every other Max I've driven.

Nope, it is the same for 95-99. And almost the same for 89-04.

Actually, I definitely know there was a change between the trannys on the 1997 and 1998 Infiniti I30's, because the 1997 trannys had problems.
