How do I find out the exact color of my White 96 Maxima?
#1
I was wondering where it shows the exact color of my white 96 gxe max. I am ordering a part from a junkyard, and he said the color it came of from is Pearl White, I was just wondering if mine is the same. The year of his max is 95

Paint Codes
Hi all,
Every stock vehicle has a paint code associated with the serial #/VIN. In this case it is Arctic White, paint code #QNO. Even if the code number is not observable under the hood, the VIN# will give any Nissan or approved paint shop the color code. Now - paint the car some other color - been there done white. Don't take this wrong but before you worry about cosmetics (spelled p-a-i-n-t) spend your money on performance upgrades (spelled C-A-I and 235/45/17" tires and wheels) plus "Y" pipes or some other exhaust that gets that bad-to-the-bone engine breathin' properly.

Blbolner, I think you confused the original post, it seems duplex is trying to get a replacement part from a junkyard and wants the paint to match exactly, he never mentioned a desire to paint his car a different color. BTW welcome aboard, we are usualy very friendly around here.
