I was wondering where it shows the exact color of my white 96 gxe max. I am ordering a part from a junkyard, and he said the color it came of from is Pearl White, I was just wondering if mine is the same. The year of his max is 95
thanx!

Under the hood, just in front of the right front passenger, there is a little metal tag. I believe that has the paint code on it.

Paint Codes

Hi all,

Every stock vehicle has a paint code associated with the serial #/VIN. In this case it is Arctic White, paint code #QNO. Even if the code number is not observable under the hood, the VIN# will give any Nissan or approved paint shop the color code. Now - paint the car some other color - been there done white. Don't take this wrong but before you worry about cosmetics (spelled p-a-i-n-t) spend your money on performance upgrades (spelled C-A-I and 235/45/17" tires and wheels) plus "Y" pipes or some other exhaust that gets that bad-to-the-bone engine breathin' properly.

Damn Mr.Faty Sacks, that is know way to treat a first time poster. I agree what he said makes no sense and the way he said it came accross aragant. But none the less he did not make fun of anyone or swear at anyone. So chill.

Blbolner, I think you confused the original post, it seems duplex is trying to get a replacement part from a junkyard and wants the paint to match exactly, he never mentioned a desire to paint his car a different color. BTW welcome aboard, we are usualy very friendly around here.
