Clutch Peddle Problem

I have a 97 max SE
OK so I was driving home last week and when I stepped on the clutch the peddle stayed on the floor. The car acted like it was still in gear. I nursed it home and had it towed to a tranny guy. He looked it over and told me my clutch slave cyclinder was shot. We ordered a new one and installed it today. Now when I am driving about one in every ten shifts. THe pedal stays on the floor, if I flick it up with my foot the car shifts fine. Any ideas? I was thinking maybe the system needs to be bleed again, but that would be to easy. Any help greatly appriaciated.

TIA.

Shawn

Sounds like something in your clutch hydraulic system. Maybe you can just take it back to the tranny shop and see if they can just fix it since they didn't solve the entire problem. Bleeding can always be easily overlooked. I hear about many people say they fully bled something but in reality they still need to do it or need to do it right. Bleeding is the easiest solution if that is the problem, so maybe try that out if not then look at all aspects of the hydraulic system.

My .02$ is that the clutch needs to be bled again...and you shouldnt be driving that car if the clutch is acting like that
