i LOVE my B&M, stiff for the first 1-2 weeks then it's like butter. Haven't changed my tranny oil yet but I'm going to soon, and going to get the AMSOIL GL4 from the group deal forum probably. Not because it's notchy or anything, just because I don't know if that gear lube has ever been changed (I'm only at 70k so it's probably a bit overdue.)

would it it be ok if i just keep the same gear oil in there....or do i have to put in synthetic? ive been told it gets tooo notchy and hard to put into gear if i dont put in synthetic....i want to try to avoid synthetic cuz im afraid it would leak....

I didn't change my gear oil and my shifts are like butter. (B&M) Maybe they didn't install it correctly? Don't know how that would be possible though, there isn't much you can mess up.
I don't plan to goto synthetic either when I do change it.
from the courtesy page .. (now says its no longer available)
