So I just bought an Underdrive Pulley...

Just a couple Qs. What are HP gains for cat back, intake, clutch and flywheel moded 99? I hardly belive it's anywhere near the 15 that the company claims... And will that prevent my car from shutting down when I pop the clutch in with the radio going while braking to a stop, with lights on? sometimes my RPMs drop too low when I'm doing that and it will just stall out. I thought the flywheel might have helped out with that but it didn't.... Any little things that I should watch for during install? as I will probably do it myself (and a friend). Probably a pulley puller would be a good idea, but what else? do our belts have a tensioner pulley to make taking the belts off and on easier? Thanks all!!

Now is that at the crank, or at the wheels you suppose?

i have a upd, my friend installed it for me. it probably adds 1-2 hp, at the wheels, crank, i dont know, either way its insignifigant. if i remember correctly, there is a belt tensioner. you also need to get new belts for the new pully. and it should not effect your electronic systems. mine didnt do anything to my systems.

The UDP should add a few at the wheels i'm guessing 2-5whp. After you've done most other bolt on mods this is a good one to end the modding with.

Underdrive shouldn't hurt unless you're running a heavy system, you gain horses but lose some alternator amperage, nothing to worry about unless you compete in spl. Car shouldn't shut off.

Ok, well right now sometimes if I'm revving at 2-2.5 and shove the clutch in while braking formidably my car will shut down. I currently am leaning towards the battery being the culprit here. Am I right? I was thinking about getting a deep cell marine type to see if that fixes it... I just recently had the clutch an flywheel replaced and was originally thinking it was due to the lighter flywheel. I think if anything that this UDP mod would worsen that effect? I have all belts now and I got the oil seal for the shaft too, is there anything else I should take into account, do, or purchase before I attempt this on monday? I am thinking about borrowing or buying a gear puller as well. THANKS ALL!!
