light the center pockets

Hey guys,

I'm in the middle of doing the led swap on my manual climate controls and was thinking.. I've got a few white leds left..How about putting two in each of the pockets under the radio.

The leds I have already have resistors and wires attached to them so no problem there. Think I'll wire them to the cig lighter since I only use that for recharging my cell phone.

Has anyone done this yet?? Any pics?

So I've got my center console apart putting in the modified climate controls and thinking about my pocket lighting project..

I was going to get the power from the cigarette lighter wires when I noticed a little further back an unused connector that's taped up against the cig wires.

So I test it for power, with and without the lights on. It seems to be hot only when the lights are on. Woo..what a discovery.

Anyone know what this unused connector could be for??
Would be great if I could get the mating connector and use that for the leds in the pockets.

Don't know especially if it's taped off probably not factory, but even if you didn't have that you just run extra LED's off your dimmer switch. I was just thinking of wiring up an LED or two in those two pockets also
