now how would you know if your too late for the GD?....did you even go to the GD section and read through...you probably didnt, well the GD is sorta still going on...cattman is the same thing as the PLACE racing cai, so theres a guy who took over the GD and now is selling cattman cai.... do your homework! go to the GD section... ... or if you dont wanna do that....just go search yahoo for a dealer that sells them...

I have a Place Racing CAI, but after having it on for 4 days now I think im going to put the stock air box back in. It seems like I lost a little bit of power and I do not care for the sound of the car when I floor it. Just going to drop in a K&N filter in the orig. air box and leave it be. Although I do like all the extra room I gained under the hood after ripping out the stock intake.

hehehehe....I'm like all custom man No..all kidding aside. I was not interested in tearing another hole in the side so I just made it go straight down. The filter rests between the bottom of the fan shroud and the lower skirt. So far I havn't had any issues with heat soak as it is below the fan exhaust coming off the radiator. The MAF is directly connected to the the filter. I pasted links to the pics below as the images are big enough to bring down moderator hell on my ****. hehehe

I like that install Max1man, looks good. Do you still have your stock midpipe? Do you think it would fit with the same setup? I put my stock midpipe back on with the rest CAI through fenderwell and felt an increase. I'm wondering since your setup has a shorter run of CAI, if the acceleration would be better.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm sure acceleration would be affected in the manner you stated above. I have no complaints

I bought a boner CAI from ebay and I'm not sure about where to drill the hole to get into the fender...anyone can get some pics of exactly "where" to drill that ****ing hole!!! and try to figure out by looking with the rest of the pipe where it sould be entering the fender but, anything looks like to be the best place...??!! I read on the stickies but it's always looking like the pipe is getting between the battery and the fuse block but there nooo way to get it in there!!??? please help!!!

Thanks!

I didn't even bother with the hole I already had one for the CAI when i was S/C'd..didn't want another one... here's what I did. MAF is attached to the filter and rests between the bottom of the fan shroud and the lower skirt...no direct hot fan air
