100w Bulb in Fogs

anyone here attempted to install this amount of wattage into their Fogs? I am looking to make them brighter. Any info would be great. Thanks.

yeah jaemax goahead and install 100w bulbs in your foglights....lol....then see how long before they burn out....dude youll melt your harness in no time at all....if you want higher wattage fogs you gotta get an upgraded harness or an HID kit

You will also heat up the fog lens and when you go through a puddle and splash cold water on it you will crack the lens

I have never put 100w in a 4th gen fog, but I do have aftermarket driving lights w/100w. I have 100w in my bro's 2k fogs, which are more enclosed than 4th gens. Prep the harness before installation, and you won't have a problem.

While you're at it, You can overwatt the driving lights too. I think mine are 85/120. Prep the harness.

Been there, done that. Back when I was uneducated about the Maxima... It does crack the lenses quite well, then water gets in and your lights blow twice a frequently as normal 55w's. Ahh hindsight

There are numerous retailers of both used and new foglights for these cars. Do a little search. But first... What do you mean, 'they don't work'? New bulb needed? New switch? New wiring? Completely smashed to bits?

My passenger side fog light "doesn't work".... I took a look at it, the bulb is fine and the wires seem fine. It used to actually light up when I smacked it but then it just goes out again... I've never bothered to replace it since I don't use them but probably just a faulty bulb?

dont do it, i had 100w narva's in mine, they looked great, but they didnt last very long, you might want to upgrade the harness, or just go with a lower wattage bulb
