I recently shaved off my emblems on my trunk (m a x i m a, and the nissan emblem). They're all very worn and are peeling. I don't plan on putting the nissan emblem back on, but I do plan on painting the m a x i m a gunmetal and putting them back on my trunk. Anybody have any pics of this? Thanks

 

i dont have a picture of it...but ive seen it on a black max with tinted tails and it looked very nice

can you tint tails yourself or do you have to buy it like that?

I thought about painting the my emblems darker after seeing my sister's 2k Max. She has a dark gray Max with smoked emblems and letters, it looks nice.

 

All you gota do is maybe sand them a little bit - then paint them. Its very easy to do.

 

Yeah I just took all the adhesive off the letters and sanded them today. Then i cleaned them and dried them off. I'm gonna paint them sometime this week.
