I bought a FSTB for my 95 max. Installation is really self explanatory. However, I saw "how to" section in maxima.org and it said something like this:
"Here's a closeup shot of the three 14mm front strut nuts. The torque specification is 29-40 ft/lbs...35 is fine('95-'98). "
What does that torque number mean? I'm guessing it has something to do with how much tighter I turn the bolt... help

Torque is how much turning pressure you apply to something. In this case you should use a torque wrench to properly apply the right amount of pressure to the nuts. Usually this is measured in lbs. They are cheap, usually under $20.
Using to much torque can cause the bolts to snap off either now or later while driving. A simple torque wrench is a must for any home mechanic.
