downstream o2??

downstream o2??
my downstream o2 sensor keeps setting of my CEL. 2 codes 0510 and 0511.
i know that the upstream left and right bank sensors help monitor the air/fuel mixture, so i'm sorta glad they arent messed up. i think the y pipe may be tripping the downstream sensor.
Question is, will my car suffer a performance loss if only the downstream o2 sensor is faulty?
thanks for any insight.

02 sensor
hey if any of you need an o2 sensor i have a walker 250-25284 sensor that i ordered and didnt need (i have cali spec and ordered two 250-25284 instead of one 250-25284 and one 250-25286) they didnt want to take it back so i just have it sitting around.
