Headunit installation light problem

I got my HU installed today and now I looked and on my manual climate control, the buttons that show where the air should blow are not lit but the 0 1 2 3 4 is lit. The rear defrost and hazard buttons are also off. IS this because something isnt connected or is something screwed up?

thanks

The HVAC controls are all part of one assembly, and sometimes the connectors in teh back can work loose. It has to be removed when installing an HU. Check those connections first. There are either two or three back there. That happened to me once as well.

i think the nigh lighthing is all connected.. cause when i disconnected my radio the wierdest things happened... cuase i drove around wihtout a radio for a few days... and the lights would tunr on when i pressed the brake.. the interior night lights...(not the dome light) look for a red wire with blue line on it that might be disconnected... and yea also the weld on teh circuit board came loose once.. and i had to put it back together.. pain.. but check for loose connections..
