Trunk won't unlock!!!

Need help guys.......

I was loading some stuff in the trunk of my car today and when I tried to open it via the switch on the driverside door, it won't open. So I tried opening it with a key, the key won't turn!!! I thought maybe the lock cancel switch was accidentally activated because I was putting alot of odds and ends stuff in the trunk. Now I have no way to open my trunk. I can't access the trunk from inside the car because I have a sub box blocking the rear seat opening.

Any suggestions guys???

wow, have you tried hitting the unlock button and pulling up at the same time?

maybe the bumper may need to come off in order for you to work that bottom latch (just an idea)

might have to remove the back seats then the metal backing then the sub box, etc and crawl inside..if all else fails.

It suddenly hit me, penetrating oil!!! I used the Valvoline SynPower penetrating oil, sprayed the inside of the keyhole. Waited a few minutes, and the key turned.
