How to remove Maxima Emblem?

How to remove Maxima Emblem?

Tomorrow i'm going to put night shade on my tails and would like to debadge the maxima emblem from the rear along with the nissan badge. is there any particular procedure i should follow or anything i should know before taking them off? or even how to take them off? ALso if anyone else did the nightshade, when they took off the tails hows did they get around the white caps on the bolt on the inside of the trunk? any help is much appreciated!!!! thanx!

i used a sawzill, but any saw is fine, like a hak saw or something

these guys are just clowning you..lol..anyway...just use a fishing line to debadge the trunk and get some goo-off or something..so take off any residue that is still there...then buff it out with some wax or a clay bar..and your set.

dont do it, your car will look ugly without the emblems.

I managed to use dental floss w/o much trouble..!
You are going to want some glue remover. I used 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner.

its called 3m adhesive and wax remover. available at walmart auto paint area. or if you go to home depot, get a can of goof off. and soak the adhesive for a couple of minutes and then use a cloth to just wipe it off. then claybar and wax that as s

I flossed the hell out of mine, and it started to come off where I could use my fingers to pull it off. Dental floss works but you'll be using a lot of it cause its not that strong.


My floss was Waxed and minty

Floss... followed by Goo Gone and then wash the area thoroughly when you're done... if its cool out, ya might wanna warm it up by using a hairdryer or something to soften the glue before flossing....
