Exhaust Question
I was just recently given a "weld on can" that i put on my max. One thing that i noticed was that is was extreamly loud from 1000 rpm-3000rpm. From 3-5 my stillen intake was much louder that the exhaust and from 5-the redline the exhaust was nice and loud again (over the noise of the intake) i have a 97 gle with a y-pipe stillen ram air intake and an underdrive pulley.

no im definatly satisfied with the sound i was just wondering why it does that. i mean an exhaust is an exhaust. if it dosent have the resenating qualities as a stock muffler then how can it change the loudness of the exhaust, thats my question
