D2 Coilovers Installed

I just had my D2 coilovers installed last week. So far, despite everyone elses claims, I have had no problems with them. The first few days after the install there was a good ammount of clicking fomr the front pollow ball mounts, but after everything settled in, that went away and they are now perfectly quiet.

The handling in comparison to my previous intrax/tokico blue setup is amazing. I am taking turns 10-15 mph faster than before, the car stays planted and holds all the way through, I have yet to find the limit.

The ride quality is also much better than my previous setup, stereo still skips a little bit, but not as much as before and its a lot more comfertable. My spring rate is 9/6 and is not bouncy at all, but a little harsh, feels about the same as my friends GC/agx setup. Of the 36 settings, im running 12/6 but still havent found my zone and am still playing around.

I am very happy with these, i dont care much for the way you adjust the dampening, and they dont come with a bracket for your ABS line, but other than that I dont have any complaints. I paid $700 shipped for these including a 1 year warrantee and I think for that price they are WELL worth it. I think I would spend about as much as $1100 on these, anything more and I might just go with tein flex. My thanks go to Mike at Urban Import, the customer service has been excellent, he has been very easy to work with and I highly reccomend them.

what is so special about JICs? from what ive been told, the springs are too stiff, the ride is too harsh and the struts blow.
