Problem with smoking brake. Please help!
I installed new pads and rotors in the back of my car yesterday. I noticed the second brake was much harder to turn that piston thing (sorry not mechanic). And today when I was driving I smelled a very foul odor and saw my tire was smoking. I pulled over and took a look, and my brake pad is touching the rotor and making a bad smell and heating the rotors up. My pads and rotors that were replaced were in pretty bad shape. I'm wondering if I need to bleed my brakes, replace my caliper, or what. I'm not sure, but the other side is fine. Any ideas? Thanks!

Sounds like that caliper has seized and will need to be replaced and fluid bled.
I had this problem last year. One was completely stuck and one would barely move. So I just replaced the both of them. You can get some rebuilt ones at autozone for about $80 each after core refund.
Also check the emergency brake cable. Make sure it's not stuck.
