Cattman Cat-back Exhaust

Hey, i have a question for those with the cattman cat-back exhaust system from Custommaxima.com.. I wanted to know how does your car sound with it, Do you have a Y-pipe with it? and Do you have a pic of the muffler that comes with it because im thinking of ordering it, But dont want to get it if it makes mad noise. I dont want to be a cop magnet, especially because im young

ya man i have the cattman y-pipe and cattman cat-back exhaust and love it. it has a nice growl below 3500 rpms but nothing ricey or loud or anything. its an expensive setup, and possible one of the most expensive, but i did a lot of research when i first got her on the org and i am very happy with the combo. i could POSSIBLY take a vid/sound clip of it, but i am very busy and it would take me a few days.

BTW i bought the cat-back directly from cattman (i think it was cheaper then custommaxima since they are a rip off) and the y-pipe i got used off here on the org. keep an eye out, but they go FAST ... good luck man

I have one too along with their y-pipe and I absolutely love the sound. When I first put it on, it was a little loud but now it is very quiet while cruising around town or on the highway. Once you get on the gas, it has nice deep growl. It may be the most expensive setup to go for but, it is the best sounding in my opinion. I too have done a lot of research before buying, and all other setups sounded too loud when paired with a y-pipe. If you can afford it, I say go for it...you won't be disappointed.

Oh..one more thing, I second getting it directly from cattman

I had the complete cattman set up, but after a few days I took the muffler off. It was way to loud...not ricey, but just plain loud. I put on a dynomax turbo muffler instead and could not be happier. The dynomax offers the same growl, but not quite as loud as the cattman. I think this is due to the fact that the dynomax had internal baffles where as the cattman as just a striaght through glass pack...
