Sitting on 16's?? Show me some pics

Hi all,
Im looking into getting some rims for my car. I was thinking larger rims look the best (18's) but recently Ive seen some cars with smaller rims that seem to give that nice aftermarket look without the Ricey edge to it. Plus, the money saved is always nice too. Basically, I was hoping some of the folks on here with aftermarket 16s could post a couple of pic so i could get a feel for what they look like on a 4g Max

Let the opinions fly!

If you're low on cash I suggest not getting 18s or higher, the price of tires goes WAY up.

You guys recommend: 17 x 7.5 or 17 x 7? Any drawbacks to the x7.5s?

you gotta at least get 17 inchers, unless you plan on lowering or like that SUV wheel gap

I currently have 17" rims off an '02 altima V6 with 215/50/17 conti tires
I love the way they look

I'v gotta take some pics and update my sounddomain page

I'd go 17X7.5 as the smallest 'upgrade' in wheels unless i was autocrossing or tracking the car then i'd go smaller (cheaper tires). 16's are too small on a Max IMHO.

Yeah, stick with 17" for look/performance.

18" are ok too but anything larger makes the car look lika HotWheel imho

I would say get 17s too for looks, you would need to drop your car, or else it will still have a huge wheel gap for 17s, unless you like it that way, thats fine. You can check my cardomain page, I have pics of it with my 16 SE 5 spoke and the 17 6 spoke.

One of the sites to look at wheels on your car and pick sizes and styles is Discount Tire Direct (tires.com) That is where I got these. Yeah I know I'm a 3rd genner but I couldn't resist showing you some 16's.
