My car is doing something very strange. When i gas it really hard the engine knocks, Like it stops and gets back on it again. It doesnt excellerate as fast as it used to either. My car is a 95 SE manual. Please help!

my car had a lull in the powerband too when my knock sensor was dead..
just changed my KS, plugs and oil within the last few weeks and feels like a new car again.

knock sensor is a ghost code (0304?) so it wont trip your CEL.. check it and see if anything is there
