Door/Light Chime Mod?
I was putting in my gauge rings and bezel a while ago, and while i was down there with the panel that goes by the drivers knees and around the fuse plate, i unplugged the beeper to warn you that the lights are on or the keys are in the ignition when the door is open. is there anything that can be done to this to mod it at all? change volume or tone? i know this is kinda weird, but just wondering if anything has been done before?

You could put in a different buzzer.. its just a two wire hook up, nothin hard to do

1st and snd gen max's probably- my dad's had the bing bong bing bong chime. it just sounds better than beeeeeeeeep......beeeeeeeeeeep......beeeeeeeep.

^^^mmmmmk...? there was a kid at my high school with a jeep wrangler who could turn on a siren through a PA system that sounded like an ice cream truck! it got old real fast and cost him almost $100.
