cefiro with hid's..help!!!!!!!
Ok guys, i've spent my last few days putting stuff in my car. God only knows how much i've spent within a month. Let's see, new rims, D2 coilovers, tinted my windows, and yesterday i put a flip out, nea head unit and a system and put on a horizontal grill.
Here's the problem.
Today i bought these cefiro smoked headlights with H4 hid's. They're basically pointing to the ground, and where i live in NJ, i def need headlights, reason why i bought HID's. I've played with almost all the screws in the back n doesn't seem to move the headlight up or down. and the hid is shooting everywhere, i know its because it doesn't have a projector in it, i need to retro fit it or put a projector. I'm pretty good with my hands, so i wanna put a projector in my headlights, but the thing is, i dunno how. cause i dunno what to use. can i use a foglight that has a projector and somehow just put it in there? or does it have to be special ones?
MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL. HOW DO I RAISE MY CEFIRO HEADLIGHTS TO POINT MORE UP?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!

i can't really put anything under the housing since my car is really low and the fact that there's really no space between the headlight and the bumper without having any of the parts rip off in a way. someone HAS to know a way to adjust these. Are these even adjustable????

i got it from a .org member, i called him up but he doesn't know either. are guys telling me i'm the FIRST .org member who has the smoked cefiros and is the FIRST one who tried to adjust these guys??? you guys can't be serious..please help me!!...please....please...-= \
nope all the threads i have read on smoked cefiros have not been able to adjust their headlights. its the cheap TYC junk. Its not OEM its a remake of the OEM version. The quality is not as high either. I don't know if there is a possible way to adjust these or not, hopefully someone who has figured it out with their smoked cefiros will chime in soon
The people that I know that have these installed reported that it took along time to aim the cefiro headlights due to the aiming screw not making much of a change to the aiming angle with each revolution of the screw. I would suggest that you just keep turning the screw and you should eventually see a change in the angle. Hope this is of some help to you.

tried it again today, not one bit of difference, i'm gonna buy some cheapo fogs n take the halogen out of it to try to make it fit on my cefiro's somehow......gonna be a project for me!!!!...any inputs??
first off you bought some cheap head lights... if you would have bought OEM cefiro headlights you wouldn't have this problem. Also if your light is scattered all over the place, it's most likely that you bought a cheap HID kit that doesn't have a shielded H4 HID bulb.

like i said, i bought these off from another org member. I really have no clue who sells OEM cefiro lights in th US. all i know is that if i wanted OEM cefiro lights, i would have to get it from japan, and that would cost me an arm and almost a leg. and yes, the hid bulb does have a shield. and aren't most cefiro headlights aftermarket n not OEM.
1FSTMAX - do you even have cefiro lights??? if you do, can you adjust them? if you don't, then don't bash on me saying i got some cheap stuff. i'm sorry if i don't want to spend $500 to import headlights when i can buy aftermarket ones in the US for like half the price if they were basically the same. its like sayin would you go to the dealership and buy spark plugs from them for about $9.00 a piece or would you go to pepboys or autozone and buy them for $1.99 a piece when they do basically the same thing.
when i say that they're scattered i mean they don't have a clean cut-off. i think the reason being is that i don't have projectors. i wouldn't of even bought these headlights if i KNEW that they woudln't be adjusted and my light output would almost be the same as my 9004.
If the cefiros i have which i believe are almost the same as paradox systems, and you're saying they're bascially cheap junk. then why would people buy them in the GD??? why would people have cefiros in the first place??

i was just gonna take projectors or a halogen from a foglight and put it in my cefiro's myself. if that doesn't work, i'll get them retro fitted. but if i do get tehm retro fitted, wouldn't that ruin the look of the cefiro???? i haven't really seen smoked cefiro headlights that are retro-fitted. if anyone has a pic that would be cool. i've searched like for 2 hours and can't find a pic
