Knock Sensor Harness

Ok. I just got a new knock sensor. Do I need to replace the harness also? It looks fine but I read that it's better to replace the harness. That true? Why?

The dealer can't sell me only the harness. Where else can I get it?

I didn;t replace the harness, but if you want one. I have one off an 00 w/ about 50-60k miles on it, it is in good condition.

It's strange they say they can't sell it to you separate. I got mine from jerry rome nissan.

My harness looked fine when I replaced it, so I dunno it's up to you. Once you figure out the easy to remove/install the KS, replacing the harness later doesn't seem like a big deal.

You all need to learn to look a little harder.

dgeesaman told you everything you need to know. I just found the harness on jrnissanparts.com - it took me all of 30 seconds.

Look under Mechanical->Tune-up & Emission->Tuneup & Igntion and you'll see Knock Sensor Harness - part # 2407931U01.
