personally, i dont think maxima factory spoilers look good on max. Max looks better without any spoilers matter in fact. In my personal opinion, the only exterior mod that looks good on max is underbody kit and foglights. Rather spend 150bucks or so on some red and clear tail lights.. heh

I really, really disagree. The early 4th gens butts look horrible. If you notice, Nissan put a crease in the trunk below the top of the trunk to make it look better. The spoiler makes a really ugly butt and slightly better butt.

I disagree...makes them look more athletic. Not that a 3-tier ghetto rice wing makes anything look athletic, but the max wing is nice.

I totally agree. Those spoilers don't improve the looks at all. I thought about it, compared the looks with and without, and decided not to put on a spoiler. It just looks cleaner without it. I can't explain it.

I dissagree

I dont think that the maximas look that "sporty" without the wing. Granted, they may not look bad, they just dont go grrrrr. I think that the stock wing, and most of the aftermarket ones that peeps are putting on their max's, look very nice.

It's like putting on rims, you don't notice how much better it looks until you do it. Plus, you can take off your CHMSL then.

I get email almost everyday from newbies asking where I got the wheels, so yeah, it looks good. A bodykit would have made it look better, but oh well...

I have no idea to tell you the truth... I bought it from a previous max owner. Actually, that pic was his car... he told me its a custom wing (probably universal wing) that he got from a local shop in Philly. I havent put it on my car yet... cuz I didnt have the money yet.

If you ever want to get rid of that crazy wing, let me know because I'd be interested in buying it from you!

cheers,

I disagree

I think I remember reading somewhere that the wing is a Carative Type 3 wing. But I'm not sure. I also diagree that the maxima looks better without a wing. I think that the maxima's butt looks ugly and doesn't have a sporty look to it. I think its because the maxima's butt appears to be lower than the front. By adding a wing, it raises the back making it look bigger and meaner.

It looks like a Stillen Type 3 Wing for a 300ZX. Carative probably modified it to fit the maxima. My thruster wing had to be modified to fit. Not that big of a deal.
