4th gen Sawblade rim weight? Looked in FAQ's...
Just wondering if ayone knows the weight of the 4th gen Sawblade wheel.
I couldn't find it in the FAQ's. Apologies if I missed it.

Do not let people tell you it weighs 16.5lbs. It DOES NOT. It weighs 19+lbs. How do I know? My friend wieghed the wheel on a digital scale, if I recall correctly it measures all the way to the gram.
That is somewhat heavy for a 15-inch wheel, but they are MAD strong and the roads we have up here require strong wheels. Methinks they look good when lowered. Just get lighter front wheels with slicks/radials for the track only.

Ok thanks. That's exactly why I asked -- I've never believed they were 16+ (which is the only answer I've been given up to now). I upgraded to the 4th gen sawblades about 3 months ago. Overall I'm happy with them compared to my stock 3rd gen sawblade style, both in looks and durability, but wouldn't mind shaving a few lbs off.
Maybe I should lay off the Twinkies.
