SAFCII Question..Help Please!

I have my SAFCII all wired up and it seems to work fine. I went through the initial setting and did the Sensor Type 4 & 4 (since the manual said HW-4 for this car) and Sensor Calb. to 1 and 1. I'm getting a MAF Circuit Malfunction Code on the ECU now. Does it need to be set for Sensor Calib. 2 & ADD ? I also have it set for 6 cylinders. How do the rest of you have it setup?

Ok..I searched and found how it should be set:
6 cyl
4 in 4 out
HW

I know the ground works because if I unplug the MAF wire from the SAFCII and just plug them together (bypassing AFC) it works fine. When I put it back throught he AFC I get MAF Circ Malfunction. I must be missing something but I have no idea what it could be at this point.

Still need help. I'm still getting MAF Circuit CEL. We got the green wire going to Pin 5 and the AFC is reading RPM fine. We have Grey going to the TPS Pin 23 and it is sensing TP fine. We have the purple wire connected to the Knock Sensor pin 64 and it is reading the knock signal. Obviously, Red is connected to Pin 67 as I'm getting power. The ground is connected correctly to the ecu wire pin 55 (brown closest to ecu black about 1/2" from the brown tap. When the MAF wire we split on pin 54 is put directly together (bypassing the AFC) everything is dandy. So I guesstimate the ground is wired correctly. As soon as we bring the AFC into the picture on the split MAF wire, I throw code and run hella rich cuz the MAF circuit is failing. I have doubled and triple checked all settings. I have been through the whole intial setup short of the Knock Sensor calibration after warm up cuz I don't wanna run it that long without the MAF.

What are we missing?

Nice one person thread

You might have better luck in one of the more technical forums (boosted, Nitrous, or all motor).

Thanks all. I looked over that stuff already....this was a very stupid mistake. In fact, this is the biggest blunder I've ever made modding. I had the MAF wires backwards (yellow to engine instead of ECU) DOH!!!!

Sorry for the urgency on such a stupid issue. I feel like an idiot!
