digital clock going on and off

does anyone have the problem of the digital clock going on and off whenever it wants to??? and anyone know how much it would cost to replace it? and how I would even open that section to get the clock out?

My girlfriends 95 maxima SE is having that problem right now. I guess I should be happy that this is the only thing wrong with the car!!!

yes i had that problem with my 4th gen. went to a junkyard and got one for $20. To take it out just stick a flathead in the gap between the climate control and the clock and pry it upwards, it will feel like your going to break it but it shouldnt. then undo the wire from the clock and there are 2 screws that u have to take off. hope this helps

My clock was out too.
I took it off; inspected the circuit board, and noticed some broken solder joints. All I did was resolder the broken connections and that whipped it back into shape.
I suspect some of you may have the same issue. If you know how to use a soldering iron (or know someone who does) give it a look first, it's pretty easy (and cheap).
