dead battery? dummy lights
dead battery? dummy lights
I left my headlights on for a few hours and I needed a jump start. I drove for a few hours and the car ran perfectly fine. The next day I drove the car twice and everything seemed normal. The third time I started the car, the battery light stayed on and then the brake light turned on. I drove around for a while, and the ABS light turned on, and then the air bag light started flashing. I just parked the car, turned off the ignition. The headlights seem to work, but now I can't start the car. The battery "may" be weak, but will it cause all these dummy lights to turn on at once? Maybe an ecu problem?
I really hope its only a battery problem.................
its late at night and raining hard so I can't investigate further at this moment.

Replace your battery, it's no longer holding enough current to support your cars electrical system. If a cell is shorted within the battery, it could be putting a large draw on the alternator, bringing down the cars voltage level enough to upset the electronics.
Get a new battery and have to alternator tested to make sure it's putting out the correct voltage and amperage to support the cars electrical system.
