Clutch Problem...HELP!!!
Ok, so last night my clutch is working perfectly. I get in this morning. Push clutch in to start but as soon as i put my foot on the pedal that pedal pushes very very easily to the floor. Feels like the last 2 inches of pedal travel actually apply hydrolic presure to release the clutch. And then sometimes when i take my foot off the clutch it almost sticks to the floor and then pops back up, and other times it does stick to the floor and i have to pull it back up.
I would tend to think that there is a hydrolic leak somewhere and that is why it only releases the clutch at the last 2 inches. This is obviously not enough to put it into gear.
Thanks.

Ok i checked the clutch master cylinder. Dry as could be. Strange there was no puddle under the car. So i filled up to see if i could pump up the clutch. Got it to a bit where i could move the car to a different (level) spot. When i had the clutch to the floor it was disengaged, but when i would pull it like half an inch off the floor the car trys to jump forward. So i guess that means it is just barely disengaging the clutch. I am going to try bleeding the system next so that i can try to get the car to my dads house (like to do all my work there). And then i guess i need to find the leak in either the slave or master cylindar.
Can anyone give me some tips on how to bleed this system, never done it on a car before, only on motorcycles. Thanks!
Also does anyone know what a new Master Cylindar costs for a '96?
Loe Max: wow, except for the wheels we have like an identical car. Good choice. heh.

the process for bleeding is in the how to's its on the motorate.ca site. very easy process will need and extra foot to help you out and atleast a liter of Dot 3 brake fluid. After you bleed engagement should be smooth as silk. Adjust the grab point if its too high or low thats in hte faqs also.
