Mystery wire not connected to anything in rear deck...

I was replacing my rear (stock) speakers on my non-bose sytem and when I lifted the deck, (for those never changed the speakers in the rear, you have to remove the seats then the deck lid) I saw what it looks like a extra line for a speaker with the connector on the tip and it wasn't connected to anything. (on the driver side)

Any ideas on what it was? I don't know jack about audio/electrical and I just thought it was a line for a woofer if I ever get one.. lol.. please enlighten me.

I have an extra connector and 2 wires that run down the middle, which is for the 3rd brake light that SE's don't have.

Ya i was wondering what those 2 wires were. Frankly I was a little scared cuz those wires have no end...They were just there. Got my mom to step on the brakes, reverse, signal...All good!
