I Need Major Help Now Please!!!

i regreased my starter, put everything back on and now nothing happens when i turn the key. i have electrical but thats it. my dad says he can possibly hear the starting trying to engage but nothing is happening. i have to go to work in the morning - need help now pleeeease. thanks guys.

Go back and check all your work. Check all connections, wires, hoses, etc... Did you disable anything (fuel pump/pressure) when you uninstalled the starter? Is anything hooked up backwards?

i double checked everything - my dad says he can hear power to the starter but its just not doing anything.

Well if you don't get it solved by tonight, don't panic. You have a 5spd, so you can pop the clutch and start it that way. Just get it rolling down a hill with the clutch down in first gear with the ignition at the ON position, and then really quickly let the clutch up and immediately kick it down again to get the engine fired up.

And park it on a hill everytime you use it until its fixed. I don't be thinking so.

ok - i tapped it w/ a hammer several times and after a few turns of the key she fired up, but the starter still struggled engaging and disengaging. less grease or more grease!!??
