I'm fixing to go buy two new CV Axles....what would I look at to see if I have anti-lock brakes or if I do or don't have a limited slip differential...

ABS n' Stuff

I would assume if you have an ABS light come on when you put the key in the "on" position, you would have ABS. Also consider you have a GLE.

Also check the VIN with an online source. ie. some thread on this site or carfax.com

99.9% you don't have LSD , only Canadian maximas had it from factory,
but to be 100% sure lift up the front end and spin one wheel, it the other one spins in opposite direction - you don't have LSD, if it doesn't spin you have LSD

olso you can look up the tranny vin number , V stands for LSD

For ABS , look for light on dashboard, and for wire that goes through rubber groomet through the frame of the car.

Two more ways: look at the metal tag on the passenger side of the firewall, behind the engine. There is a transmission code - if there is a V near the end, it's LSD. But that's highly unlikely for a US car.

The ABS adds a boatload of small metal tubes that block access to the fuel filter. So just between the engine and the drivers side wheelwell, you'll see a jungle of tubing on an ABS car. Make the fuel filter job a *****.
You'll also see two lines running to each wheel/brake assembly in front - a thick cable for the brake fluid, and a thinner wire going to the ABS sensor.
