something always goes wrong

so i just reinstalled my tail-lights after the DIY clearing process. Turned on my lights to check out how they looked(since its dark out). then i noticed my headlights arent coming on and my dash says that the high beams are on (even though the stick is in the low beam position). they wont come on at all, and only my foglights will come on with my side markers.

second problem: the clear half (formerly the orange half) of my passenger side taillight is constantly on. it only shuts of when i turn on my right turn signal, then it flashes as normal.

did i blow a fuse or something? it started to lightly rain while i was clearing the tails so maybe one of the unplugged wires got wet and shorted a fuse? i was gonna pull the fuses and check but it was dark and starting to rain harder. thanks for any help

Hey my fellow Massachusetts Max owner. First, I'm not to bright when it comes to electrical stuff, though I did do the foglight rewire yesterday so the fogs will come on with the parking lights rather than only the headlights. Anyway, check all light fuses and relays, sounds like you may have popped one of them.
Good luck man, I hope more people reply to this thread with more insight.
