Handling/Steering issues

I recently upgraded my suspension to koni adjustables all round and 1.25" lowered springs, I also changed the bearing in the top hats. Now the problem I'm having is it feels like it under steers around corners, i know the steering in maximas is pretty light but it just doesn't feel responsive, i've checked there are no power steering leaks of any sort anyone have ideas on this ?

I have R33 16" rims with silica based tyres
Front strutt brace
koni's all round front set to 3 i think and rear either to 2 or 1 i have tried reducing the front and didn't give any difference.
All bushes seem in good condition got my mechanic to check them

Any help would be great !!

did it feel like this before suspension upgrade< check your balljoints and inner tie rods

I see you have a 95. It could be your ball joints on the control arm are worn. I know my steering was very poor around corners before I replaced them. Also, I don't know who hacked your strut mounts up front, but it is best done with a grinder. People who used a drill often make the hole too larger and the top of the piston rod will move around. Lastly, if your fronts KONI's are relatively more stiff than the rears, you are dialing in understeer. I have my rears at 1 full turn and my fronts at 1/4 turn. There is some float but the ride is very compliant and pleasant. Anything more than 1 full turn up front and you are asking for a harsh ride with complimentary understeer.

Not sure what type of inspection is done in OZ, but one shouldn't be able to pass a safety inspection with worn ball joints or inn/out tie rod ends. I think that would create the sensation of play in the steering. In a normal 4th gen Max, there is very light effort needed to affect the steering, but zero play. Not sure but I don't see how your mods would add understeer, or rather more that was already there.
