I have heard a lot of talk on this board about rewiring corner lights and rewiring fog lights. Can someone please explain to me what this means and what "rewiring" does?

rewiring refers to you being able to turn on your fog lights when you are only running your parking lights (cornering lights), you can also run your fogs with your high beams too. What you have to do is change the power source of your fogs but the instructions to do this are found under maxfaq's under electrical. These instructions will tell you how you can achieve independent fog light wiring/powering.

rewiring corners = brighter corners
you don't really have to reiwre the corners to make them brighter, you can justvtake the corner bulb out and file down teh top notch and place the bulb back in backwards.

rewiring foglights = foglights canbe turnen on without headlight being on (i think thats correct)

hey vqracer, have you burned out your headlight harness yet with your higher wattage bulbs? I wanted to get a harness, but somebody else (forgot who) mentioned just grounding the factory wire as it comes out of the headlight plug and that would do the trick. Dunno what to do since i heard others burning out their harnesses. does your harness ground each light? thanx
