Clutch fluid

If my question is dumb, then go ahead and give me the dumb-*** of the year award.

When do we change our clutch fluids, only when we redo our clutches? I've asked around the office, and nobody seems to know. Maybe another one of those things that very few pay attention to. Mine is clearly very dark, where the brake fluid is clear.....

I probably should bleed it properly by using the screw on the slave cylinder, but I just sucked it out with a turkey baster about six weeks ago and did it again last weekend.
The fluid had been in there since day 1.

Since clutch fluid is in fact brake fluid and is hygroscopic, it doesn't hurt to replace the clutch fluid periodically, although its nowhere near as important to do it as it is bleeding the brakes from time to time.
