tow / trailer hitch help

Ok guys i need your help. When i purcheased my maxima it had a trailer hitch on it. Well that was the first thing to get taken off.I didn't plan on towing anything and it was ugly so i didn't need it on my max. Well after it siting in my garage i decided to try and sell it on ebay.

Well i was surprised and it sold.

Now over a month later the person that bought it emails me and says that it appears it will not fit his 95 maxima. And he doesn't think it is for a maxima at all.He thinks it was jury-rigged to fit on my car.Well i personally took it off my car which is a 96 and it wasn't rigged at all.I have emailed pictures of the mounting holes to him showing him how it was installed. He still does not believe me it will fit a maxima.

If anyone has a writeup to install this hitch it would be helpful.I have no way of proving to him it will fit other than making a long trip and installing it myself.I have explained to him he should maybe take it to someplace that installs hitches. He has told me that he has installed two hitches before and the one i sold him will not fit a maxima.

Maybe he decided that after he purchased it that he don't want it and looking for a way out of the purchase. The body is the same from 95 to 99, So either he's a idiot and can't figure it out or just looking for a way out of the purchase.

On topic, sounds like he changed his mind.

Thats the drilless setup you have which is much easier to install. The one i had was one you had to drill your own holes. So maybe he has figured out it's too hard for him to install.

A write up with dimensions on installing this type of hitch on the maxima would really help.
