swapping 95 headlights for 95's

I read in the stickies that someone had to replace the CORNER LIGHT HARNESS. IS the harness the part thats attached the the bulb and on the actual corner light? Or the "PLUG" that plugs into that socket part thats on the corner light.
I want to know what i'm supposed to swap out as far as that part goes because i'm going down to pick some up today (most likely) and i want to knock it all out in one trip. thank you.
and any other concerns i will need to know with using 97 headlights and corner lights with a 95 bumper and grill will be helpful to, thanks.

yes the 97-99 corner light harness is different. the bulb is the same...JUST the plug harness. You can use the ones you have now if youre good at soldering or taping them up. Its up to you.

if its easy, i can do it. i kinda need a little instruction though. this is the plug part so i would need to cut the wires, what like 2? and just resolder the new plug with matching wires?

excuse me? who said i was doing it half a$S??? not doing it at all is not doing it half ***. i just wanted an easy swap but i see taht theres little things you have to trim off and stuff and i might as well just do a full 97 swap instead of altering little pieces that wont fit together when its all completed.

A full swap? You mean grille, bumper, light housings? As opposed to light housings only?

I just think it'll look stupid if you have 97 headlights w/ 95 corners.... Thats half azz in my opinion

then i guess you misunderstood because i meant that i'm not going to swap ANYTHING OUT.
in fact the headlights are in my oven now, i'm just going to customize what i've got. same corners same headlights, same grille.
and yes i meant full swap. ALL or NOTHING

Drama?

There's no drama. Your initial question was confusing a little bit. But like I said...whatever, its your car do what you want

the AE mod on a 95 is very unnoticable. definately get the 97's regardless of the corners, the corners arent very noticable. they make a slight difference, but the 97+ cleans up the car

uh...its not really that easy to just get some 97 headlights, plus like i said already, i dont want to swap the headlights and have to modify anything to make a custom fit. I would have to get the whole 97 front conversion.
so getting 97 headlights isnt an option right now.

Guys, its not an option, I have already discovered the difference. And you don't have to change everything else, I just don't have the money or feel like modifying anything even the slightest bit. Unless someone on the org wants to sell them to me for cheap, andthe modifications won't effect a future 97 conversion.

Upgrade to 9007 with your current 1995 lights (do the AE), screw the 97+ lights and you will love the ones you have...
