In my friends 3rd generation this weekend and the pw seem to be alot faster then mine...even when you put the drivers and the passangers window down or up at the same time, in mine, it seems to be goin slower than if you do one at a time...is there a chance the motor is alittle tired after 85 K.. I doubt it. Its probably my imagination ??

Lower the window all the way. Spray the window channels with silicone spray lubricant. Use the long red plastic "straw" to deliver the lube to the lower part of the channels which are down inside the doors. Wipe off any overspray which lands on painted surfaces. This should produce an immediate improvement. If it doesn't, you may have a problem with the power window regulator. Servicing that part requires removal of the inside trim panel.
