When it rains my door controls stop working!?

When it rain my driver's door lock messes up. If I unlock the door with my key it sets off the alarm like some one is breaking in. It will unlock the driver's door but when I turn it the second time, it won't unlock all the doors, like it is supposed to.
So,I have to unlock it from the pass. side. And sometimes the window and lock controls won't work for about 5 min when I first get in the car(can't roll down windows or lock the doors). I assume something maybe getting wet and not allowing the door lock and window controls to work. It only happens when it rains and works fine on dry days.

Has this happened to anyone or does anyone have a possible sollution?

sorry man ive never heard of that one but have you checked for water getting places it shouldnt? like inside the door jams and whatever. the rubbers that hold the door control wires between the front of the door and the car frame when its open, shouldnt let water in.
maybe somebody else can give you more ideas

isnt the remote-box-thing for the key fob in the trunk? or is that the antenna? maybe its getting wet

Open your door controls and spray Amsoil Metal Protector on them (the electronic boards). Moisture could be getting on them cause something to malfuction. This stuff with displace the water and make the electronic boards work.

My car does this exact same thing after it rains. I think it might be because the rubber cover over the door switch is disintegrating.

Without installing a new switch, will spraying as suggested previously, do anything?

Does anyone else have issues when using a regular key to unlock the driver side door after it rains, where the car alarm goes off? Sometimes all I have to do is lock it again and then unlock it, with the key, to stop the alarm, but other times, I have had to run inside to grab the still-working keyless remote to stop the alarm from sounding. Thank you in advance to any who reply!
