My auto climate control lights all blew out from when I replaced my broken clock. My guess is that you maybe didn't disconnect the battery upon removing everything? I didn't do that the first time and I think that is what caused some things to blow. Now I always disconnect the battery and haven't had a problem since then. Just a thought. I painted my dash as well and it also came out awesome. Now I'm redoing all my interior lighting with red LEDs. I've ran into some problems along the way but I have most worked out now. Goodluck, but I have a feeling you didn't disconnect the battery and will need to replace the bulbs (might as well do a LED mod while you have everything opened up) if you know how to solder. If not you can learn very quickly, I learned in 2 min

check your fuses, double check that you reconnected everything right.

Make sure the dimmer dial isn't turned all the way down.

Well, I don't know if there is any proof that not disconnecting the battery will cause the lights to blow but it did happen to me so I'm just speaking from experience. Plus you're supposed to disconnect the battery when changing your headlights so I don't know why the same rule wouldn't apply to any other light in your car as well, although we all know the headlights are the most sensitive of the bunch. When I took out my climate control every bulb was blown though, so I assumed it must have been the battery issue. Take it with a grain of salt though, it's only my guess as to what happened since the same thing happened to me in the past

thats not an issue, b/c its only a few of the lights, not all of them... the rest of the interior works fine... as i specified its only the climat control and the rear defrost/hazard buttons
