silverstar

Anybody with clear corners and such.....you oughta look at these things. I work at Autozone and we started to carry silverstar 1157 bulbs not too long ago and we got a free sample pack of them. I know they are kinda high (~$20) but I love these things. I'll post when I get a chance to take some pics.

i have these bulbs in my corners, bumper lights, and turn signals. they looks clean, and give off an amber light even though the bulb is a bluish color. i love them. my buddy gave them to me so i did not have to pay one cent.

their headlight are not to bad, but they blow quickey, which makes them suck. Their fogs blew in 2 week for me. but the other bulbs they make like the 1156 and 1157 have done me good for over a year now.

I think the Xtravisions headlight bulbs are just as "white" as the silverstars. When one of my silverstars blew I stuck a Xtravision n, since it was lying around the shop. You can hardly tell any brightness/color difference. I guess Sylvania spent to much money on advertising these, and not enough money making a better product.

I went through two sets of silver star's in 12 months. I thought for sure I must have had a leak in the headlight case causing it...didn't find one. I've changed to a different brand and haven't had a problem since. I would not tell anyone to buy Silver Star!

My silverstar headlights have lasted 8 months now with no problem.....just to let everyone know that not everyone's burn out in a matter of weeks.

It just matters how often you use your headlights. If your in to the theory that daytime running lights make the world safer you'll toast these bulbs in weeks. I believe on the sylvania's site it says they have a lifespan of something 150 hours so in my case they would only last me about 5 months or so.

I have silverstar ambers and they look great - I've had them for a year, but I need better amber 194's to match because the one's that came with clear corners are starting to turn a peach color
