Not to rain on your parade, butl first of all you have to get a degree and get accepted to law school. Then after 3 years of law school and a year of articling, at which time you get paid peanuts, you may find you are so far in the hole that your priorities have completely changed. And the NSX will truly be older by then.

I feel the exact same way Bijan. I'll drive it until the wheels fall off. When that happens I'll throw on some Volk TE37s and sell the SSRs.

Emma is going to run until there's nothing left of her. Body wise she's fine, engine and tranny wise she's still ok. Some front end work and she'll ride fine. Then when the engine and tranny go, time for the 4th gen hybrid

My brother-in-law traded his 97SE in on a Mitsu Eclipse because it was "soooo fast". What a maroon!

By the way rmurdock, I changed that fuel filter once, and it wasn't any fun!!

like it was said "till the wheels fall off" but then i could just get new ones
so its gonna have to be till its gets wrecked ( knock on wood ) or for some reason something else. but i plan on keeping my maxima for as long as possible, if thats 30 yrs down the road, so be it. i still owe the bank a few more payments, so when thats over-soon- im really gonna go to town. the 4th gen rocks, its the best maxima imo.
good thing i have a beater for winter tho, it helps out on 'keeping it clean'

Neither is filling the gas tank, but its advisable to do so - just like changing the fuel filter every 30K .

F the 350z, I'm gonna find a blown Z32 TT, and grab a low mileage engine from a wholesaler in the next couple of years, so that when I get out of college, I will have a fast car that's already paid off.
My Max will stay with me at least til that time, barring an accident, etc. Within the next year, it will have a lowered suspension, and even sooner, full exhaust and tires.

I plan on keeping them forever, if the wheels fall off, then I will find out how that happened, fix it, put them back on and roll again.

I have some guys on another board giving me some ****. They were saying, you will really look good in a lowered modified Maxima at age 50.

No problem, I was just giving you guys the gears. I've owned my car since new. It's a 5-speed, pretty well stock except for FSTB, K&N filter and Budget y-pipe. Less than 59K and it goes like hell!

I traded in my 96 GXE Auto for a 2005 magnum SXT... great car but i missed the max sooo much i went and bought me a better one and gave the Magnum to the wife. (she will say she took it from me) so i found a 98 SE 5-speed, loaded and i am happy again... now to get all the bolt ons again

for vehicles i have i have the
2005 Magnum
98 SE maxima
94 s-10 Blazer
and an 83 Honda Magna V45

and out of all of them I like driving the Max... (magnum is a close 2nd...only if it was a stick would it be better!)

i am 21 years old and just got my max about 4 months ago. A couple mods deep so far and i caught the bug. I dont know whats up with this car because i have owned 7 others, but this one is a keeper! I hope to have it for a while it make it handel better and also look alittle more presentable. Im all about the clean look and keepin the car classy, but also with a little kick under the hood..

I'm planning on selling my car in the next month or so. I also have a VW Golf I'll be selling as well. Its only because I have a good deal going for a BMW 330ci.

Yeah hopefully an AWD conversion (using the Murano drivetrain) will be possible and worth it someday. Just like the VQ35 swap or 00 VI was "not worth it" or possible just a few months ago. Mine just got VQ35'ed so it's gonna take a while to kill it. New paint job, suspension, got work to do, it'll just improve as time passes.
