I bought the SRE sts off ebay for $27 shipped, and is chrome plated steel (NOT aluminum like the fake nismo one), but haven't recieved it yet. Dave SZ told me good things off this sts. I would try to hold out on getting one until SRE surfaces with another deal like this, since those other ones are outrageously priced compared to what I got. Here's the seller's name, try it occasionally to see if they have it. "streamlinemotoring" If you really feel the need to get one now, don't go with the second.

try to get the courtesy or b&m short shifter, they are the best SS but are quite pricey.

I got the "cheap one" nismo and I'm really happy with it...it's not too short and pretty closer than OEM shifter...it's pretty much the same feeling that I had with my '91 integra and my b&m shifter....that's my opinion

Since it's aluminum, you run the risk of breaking it under harsh shifts, or so I hear.

I did some research into this awhile ago, and I went with the Pacesetter as it is adjustable.

Also, there was a comparison done awhile back, and the STS/Nismo ones while making the throw itself shorter, did not make the shifter any lower whatsoever, which is what I really wanted as the stock thing sticks about a mile up. I love my Pacesetter, fits great, and I have a really really short throw.

i love my pacesetter as well....it is adjustable, and it is not the strongest but i pull my shfifter around hard as hell sometimes and i have yet to break it. does not even feel cheap to me. the b&m is a good shifter, it is a bit pricey and not as notchy but i would go with the pacesetter over the b&m anyday.

I have the Custommaxima STS it's adjustable but it hits the trim in 1,3,5. Wouldn't really recommend it. it shortens the throw and lowers the shifter but it feels very notchy and the set screw is VERY easy to strip out on it.

is that third one a B&M lookalike? wasn't the courtesy nissan one much like the B&M? and since they are not currently selling one (check back in a few days, they say... ) does that third one look like a good deal?
