New Red LED Interior :)
As long as you cant see the LED, it'll be cool. I hate custom lighting when you can see the source, for some reason. The middle vents shouldent be to hard to wire, but hiding them could get tricky, the sides will be easier to hide, but not easy to wire. Good luck, these are things i've thought of also, but never executed
Yeah I don't like it when you can see the source either. I don't think anything will be hard to hide. I think the secret is to secure the LED in an area where if you look inside the vent you won't see the LED itself, but bend it so the light is aimed to go where you want it. As for the wiring, the vents on the far left and right shouldn't be very hard either. I'm thinking I could take off the bottom steering cover and take out the glovebox to allow me to run the wiring to the center console and grab power from the cigarette lighter and I'll wire in a switch so the LEDs won't be on during the day time and I can just turn them on with my other lights at night. I didn't get around to doing anything today so instead I'm going to try to get some of this done tomorrow after work (my first day as an amature mechanic!)
i read of sanding the LED so it gives off more light. I dont know if i should do this or not to my leds inside the center vents.
let me know how the leds in the side vents go, i want to do that too, i didnt know if i should wire it to my original (Center led) hook up though.

As a test I'll do one vent with a sanded and one without a sanded LED and either let you know which looks better or take a pic and let you decide for yourself which look you like better. Sanding doesn't cause the LED to give off more light it just helps it reflect some more of the light out the sides due to the tiny indentations you make while sanding. I'm assuming sanding will be the better option if you want to try to fill up the entire vent with light the best you can, but that non-sanded would be better if you just want to add a touch of light and not have it be as in your face. I'll let you know for sure when I do it tomorrow though
