How do I change these?
I've personally never done it but I know they're much easier than the front ones. The front ones require you to take off the door panel. For the rears if you look ini your trunk you will see the bolts holding the speakers in. I'm pretty sure you just have to loosen those bolts and they'll come right out
i dont think u can just "swap out" your bose speakers.
check the audio forum for more information about b(l)ose
and, yes the back seat and rear deck has to come out to get to the rear speakers

yes rear seat and rear shelf but be carefull with the pillars there is a clip way in the back that most of the times just snaps. can't just swap out the bose speakers with aftermarket ones each speaker in an bose system in a max has its each own separate amp. people in the classifieds sell the speakers all the time. usually around $20-$30.
I have done this before it is more complicate than you think your better off running all new wire if you want to replace bose, and your gonna need to take the rear panel off which recuires you to take your seats out. Then take the bolts out take the top pannel covering your speaks. remove the 6 screws around the shiled of your speaks which is located in the trunk. Took me and my friend to run all new wires for front rear amp power wire new front speaks like 6 good hours and have everything back together tune the amp granted my friend is an audio wizz which helps
if running an aftermarket amp connect the front outputs of the amp to the rear speakers out puts that come from the front of the car and behind the radio with the aftermarket harnesses that connects to the factory harness the one you buy from car audio shops. twist the fronts and the rear speaker leads together that go back into the factory harness. then don't have to run speaker wire from the front to the back. its very easy. then you car bypass the amps in the doors. pm me if you still need help. when working at circuit city i was the maxima guy. recommend by the whole car audio dept.(roadshop)
