Anybody have an ACT clutch and not like it???

I'm thinking of getting a street version. just want to know if anybody thinks the ACT is no good.

I don't like it. Other clutch brands offer comparable torque holding capacity with softer clutch pedal effort. I have an ACT stage 2 BTW...

personally im a fan of it. i have a street one with a capacity to hold 372 ft-lbs of torque....so basically its the lowest one but it drives great and grips so hard it makes my car jolt whenever i open it up and shift...in a good way of course

Steet clutch is great... Don't get the 4/6 puck (like nismology) for street use.
Mine is doing fine after a few years with my 3.12" pulley on my S/C max.

Are you boosted Nismology?? I would think all you would need was stage 1 if you are N/A.

Nope. No boost. I bought the car with this crap installed.

i love the street one i had it in my car for 3 years with my abuse never slipped once pedal feels like stock. changed it out got a new one with engine swap .clutch was in such good shape.The old one that tilley uses is in his 3.5 and is running low 13's with slicks with my 3 year old act

So which one would you recommend for the max with the basic bolt-ons? And whats better-5th gen or ACT?(Sorry to break in like this )

Yeah Chunger,
Juemotors is putting the clutch in for me. I'm actually getting my rear main seal replaced cause there's an oil leak. So while he's in there Jimmy's going to go ahead a replace the clutch for me. I never got to see your car. oh well.....
