headers buzzing?
#4
Mine does the same thing. I have stone racing headers and y. After I checked things out with an automotive s***hoscope I found I had blown the front header to pipe gasket. (by the way Im still looking for replacement gaskets) Ive had a set custom cut only to blow it again in a few days. (It was some crappy cardboard material I doubted from the start). Im currently replacing my tranny, clutch, and axles so I stoped tryiing to fix the leak for now.

You could get a leak if the headers didnt mount flush to the heads (ie one warped) or if the header didnt fit square with the y, exhaust could leak around. check to see if you have exhaust build up around the header or on the engine near a junction (black sooty residue). Also check the motor mounts. if the engine torques too far back when you rev high, this could cause your exhaust to flex at the header to pipe area creating a small space for exhaust to leak around the gasket.
