transmission fluid
I read it, and seem to be the only one responding. Problem sounds fuel related but taht would most likely cause it to die/stall. And when you say rev to 3500 RPM, do you mean you neutral drop it so it doesn't die, or
??
??
no I don't shift gears. When I rev it its still in drive gear. Do you think it could be a transmission problem? Sometimes I smell this thing burning and then it goes away. I'm definetly checking my tranmission fluid tommorrow.

Are you talking about slipping? Hard shifts? Shaking? Does turning off the O/D make any difference?
fluid of anysort MAKES A DIFF. brands, fresh vs old do matter.
my other car shifted hard, and after changing it, the problem, jerkiness on its downshifting went away BIG TIME. so yes it matters. ur shifts will and should be smoother w/ new fluid. but if its not a matter of fluid, then ur tranny has probs..
